You recently requested more information about creating a business from me2everyone. The response we have had in the first 22 hours has been incredible, with more than 500 requests for information. This can be a FREE upgrade.

The me2everyone poplulation is expected to hit 10,000 some time during Sunday 11th January 2009. At this time the launch offers on shares change.

LOREKAI PUTS UP ANOTHER GBP 160,000

Date : 12th January, 2009

me2everyone's growth has smashed all our forecasts. We are putting new fixes and features online, hiring more people to cope with growth, opening new support offices in Doncaster (UK) and also the USA (two months ahead of schedule) and getting ready to move the website to a new dedicated and managed server, giving us exponential growth.

We are due to change over the shares for recommendations at 20,000 members. This morning an email arrived from LoreKai (our single largest shareholder, which designedd most of the features for the main launch site). The email provided another GBP 160,000 worth of shares to assist in the launch. This gives us 160,000,000 extra shares to add to the 350,000,000 already earmarked for this launch.

This means that the 3000 shares fore recommending will now stay in place until we hit 100,000 members!

DAY 5 - NEW SERVERS

Date : 14th January, 2009

On Thursday 15th January 2009 this website will be down for essential server upgrades. We plan to take the server down any time from 06:00 GMT for a planned maximum time of 8 hours. We amy be able to complete the handover in half the time.

The early (and superb) growth of me2everyone has stumbled over the last 2 days with all pages becoming very slow to load. We are now moving to new, managed and dedicated servers, enabling exponential growth. We will have improved security from Friday also.

The latest updates we are waiting for include an improved Admin Centre, which should enable us to finally work out what is causing 3% of our members problems in retrieving password information. Fixes will follow soon after - possibly on Friday.

We are also addressing the issue of incorrectly registered and linked members. Once we have established how problems have been created, we will re-assign where known. This may take some time, but it will be done!

Deep apologies for the problems this week - we really never imagined the website would be so successful, so quickly. The improvements we are making are aimed to bring confidence back. Thanks for your patience.

LOST PASSWORDS AND...

Date : 15th January, 2009

Two significant problems emerged this week as me2everyone created a wave of excitement across the planet!

1. Passwords that don't work
2. Members who somehow get connected to the wrong introducer


Both these errors are affecting 3% of members: giving us 750 frustrated people. We are still working on a solution and it may have something to do with the security settings in a browser. Some ISPs are blocking us, but it still doesn't solve the issue. We are going to handle this in a few ways:

1. First we need to move to the new servers: we need the site back up to normal cruising speed, so that members don't get put off with the slow connection. We aim to have this done today.

2. We are changing the forgotten password link to first check whether an email address is registered in the system and if not, give the user a chance to re-register. If the email is found, the system will check to see if it's locked. This could be for a number of reasons, including duplicated account, incomplete registration or account under investigation. The user will be told the status. If the account is unlocked then an email will be sent within milli-seconds. If its never received, the user will know that its because their ISP is probably blocking the website - instructions will be given on how to do this.

As a side issue we will soon be adding SSL 128 to the registration and log-in process.

OUR APOLOGY

8 days ago we launched the concept of the "village that would become a metropolis, all owned by you!"

To be honest, we expected to have the population of a hamlet in the first two weeks, becoming a small village by week 4 and a larger village by week 8. We expected to have time to iron out all the bugs and scripting issues and we had also planned to bring in the new servers in a calm and controlled manner. Oh yes, we were going to hire an internal web development team to take care of problems 24/7.

So a nice, gentle 8 week, settling in programme. LOL!

Thanks to some amazing support from you guys we were forced to compress those 8 weeks into 4 days!

The automatic population refresh script is the reason the server "crashed" 2 days ago. Since then the hosting company has moved us to a "Probation Sever" (the equivalent of the computer "naughty step"). Even if we fix the script, we're on the "naughty step" until Thursday: hence why we are moving early to the new hosting company.

Once the VPN (Virtual Private Network) is established on Monday, we move to new, dedicated servers with ample bandwidth and 24-hour upgrade options. Then we can fix the scripts. The orphan members you have introduced will be quickly re-linked to you. The password issue that some 2,733 members have will also be fixed, when we unlock their accounts.
