We had a truly informative and inspiring webinar earlier tonight. It lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. The first half hour was supposed to be questions and answers. It ended up going for about an hour, and then after a brief presentation, another half hour of questions and answers. The webinar was packed, and people were stoked. It was a huge relief to get an update live and in person from corporate on exactly where we have been, what is happening, and where we are headed.

Here are some notes I took:

Rick Hare, the President and CEO of DVT Technologies and Opportunity Zoom came on and first and foremost apologized for the many challenges and issues that have arisen during the first few days. He took full ownership of those, and deeply thanked the members for their patience and understanding in this early phase of prelaunch. He also shared that corporate has been working non stop on all levels to address issues that have arisen.

It has, incidentally, become very clear to OZ members, that these issues and glitches have been and continue to be addressed quite rapidly.


1) Join Process: They thought everything was fixed with the join process, but there were additional issues that were found that still needed to be resolved. The merchant account was delaying approvals, and a 2nd message was going out saying they were approved. This confused people, and has been the cause of much of the sign up problems, but it has been fully identified. There are now two other merchant accounts that will be online within the next 24 hours, and this should be all cleared up by tomorrow evening, latest. People should just know that no matter what the system says, if your card is good, you are good to go. Don't believe the "error" messages! (They will be gone forever soon).

2) Any accidental double charges that were caused by the above error messages (and people thinking they needed to repay) have been refunded, and any new ones are being immediately refunded. Huge apologies for this glitch!! (I can confirm that all double charges that have happened on my team have already been refunded). Error codes are now a thing of the past.

3) The issue of people accidentally going to the corporate site and signing up (therefore being "orphaned" in the "holding tank") is now an issue of the past. You cannot join from the corporate site any more. You must enter the username of your sponsor if you go there for some reason. Any one who previously did end up there is being personally contacted to find out who their sponsor was. No one will slip through the cracks, and this is now a non issue. There will be no more orphans!

4) All campaigns are still not being debited from people's purchase of ads! In other words, the campaigns that are being launched for members (and this is good at least through this week) are COMPED. They are "practice campaigns". Once the entire advertising inteface is up and running, with "annotations" (which is basically a Live Link on the videos that will take people to your website, either OZ or whatever you are promoting) then and only then will the actual campaigns begin! These "annotations" will dramatically increase the results of the campaigns, as instead of having to copy and paste your url into a new browswer, video viewers will just pause their video, click on your "annotation" (Live Link to YOUR site, whatever you may be promoting) and go directly to your site! This will be a huge positive upgrade.

5) Everyone in the system now, and new members, will have their "Bot Cloud" (OZ Advertising Portal) up and running within 72 hours or less. And again, these ad campaigns are not even debited from your purchase, they are comped! (See #4 above). If you are getting an "error" message when trying to log into your Bot Cloud, it just means that your Bot Cloud account has not been activated yet. You will get an email letting you know when it is. And again, all current members and new members from now on should get that email within 72 hours.

To access your account, once it is activated, you log into your Bot Cloud, and then click on Ad Bank. You can click a link to use your ads to promote OZ itself, in which case your ads will be doubled, or you can promote anything else that you like. It is very easy either way.

6) We will be able to upload our own videos through the system soon. We will be able to create our own text for our campaigns for OZ as well.

7) Capture pages are done, but not yet hosted, this will be coming in the near future. There is much more to come, we are just getting started.


As promised, I am keeping everyone updated. You also might notice that I have reactivated my signature for OZ, below. This is because after seeing how they have dealt with the many issues and problems that originally arose, my faith in the dedication and committment of Rick Hare and the Opportunity Zoom team has been reconfirmed.

I cannot predict the future, and I do not have a crystal ball. The fact is, that only time will tell if Opportunity Zoom ends up being a successful company. My committment to you is that I will always stay true to my experience, and always tell it like it is, from the best possible perspective that I have. I will never sugar coat anything, and will report as a member, dedicated to the members.

Hey Everyone,
A quick update on Oz.

Ok...
Here's the deal. The OZ Team is continuing to work around the clock. Are all the issues totally fixed and clean? No...but they are definitely getting there fast.
Are these guys totally dedicated and sincere in what they are doing? YES. Absolutely! There is no question about it.

Has there been frustrating moments so far in this journey? Oh yeah!

Bottom line? My perspective, feeling and communication to each of you, after being in this industry for a long time, and going through many prelaunches....

Take a breath. Be patient with these guys. Let them work it through. They will get done.

Payouts are supposed to be happening tomorrow, Join link is having no issues, final commission issues being fixed tonight, powerpoints being produced, ad campaigns being caught up, and a LOT of other things are happening behind the scenes.

But what I want to share with you is this:
What this will look like in 2-3 weeks is going to be a lot better then it does now. You can consider yourself fortunate that you got in early.

Now is not the time for mass promotion. Now is the time to share this with a few key contacts, those who understand what prelaunches can be like, are happy to have things not perfect yet, and see the extreme value of early positioning.

Once we are truly smooth sailing, that will be the time for outer circle markting, not yet. We want to be able to bring new folks into a much more refined and together company. They will get there. It's just about patience right now.

At that time, this is going to absolutely explode!!!

This is all just my opinion.

They are an awesome team. They are so focused and working so hard to make this a smooth sailing ship. Their dedication and experience and work ethic is an excellent marker of a positive future.

I will continue to update you as there is new things to share.

Remember, the next couple of weeks will come and go, and OZ will still be here, in a much more together, refined, and functioning form.
There will be many upgrades, enhancements and much more.

1. The join process is working very smooth and placement in both trees is automatic. The duplicate charges that we did have are all refunded. With the exception of a few people we have not been able to contact, the trees are corrected.

If you do have someone missing in your downline, get a ticket in the help desk asap, there are teams ready to help you immediately.

When you are in the ticket system make sure to say hi to Chris Hofer and offer a warm welcome. He is managing the help desk staff with his deep MLM experience. Chris has owned his own companies, run multi million dollar MLM operations and was second in command for a travel company doing hundreds of millions of dollars. As you see, we continue to attract top shelf, elite players.

2. Now that trees are in great shape, we'll regenerate the commissions one last time Friday morning and start to upload them to your debit cards.

If you are in the US and don't have a debit card, we'll be contacting you to pay through direct deposit using ACH.

If you are international to the US, we have a new international bank and they tell us that we'll be able to order debit cards shortly. Meanwhile, we'll be contacting you to push your commissions through any source we can like PayPal, AlertPay and any other methods available to us.

3. We're about 1/2 way through creating the BotCloud accounts. If we have not created a campaign for you yet, you will not be able to log in. We'll continue to get your accounts created asap.

Next week we'll be implementing domains, hosting and capture pages for you. We'll also have live links in the description so you can refer to the link in your video ads.

Coming soon will be annotations with live links that go to your promotional videos on YouTube.

4. In spite of pre-launch continuing, OpportunityZoom is in full operation. A grand opening gala is being organized to the likes that the MLM industry has never seen. With famous people from sports, music, Hollywood and other professions, it will be news around the world.

There will be 200 booths available for distributors that want to promote their products, services, organizations, political campaigns or other. We're only accepting one booth per company and product line on a first come first serve basis. We'll keep you informed as details are completed.

Ok, Just in...the latest Opportunity Zoom Corporate Update.

I have been very open and frank about our challenges, even here in this public forum, because I wanted everyone to know that I am always looking out for my team members first and always.

That being said, things are looking very encouraging here with Opportunity Zoom. I am so happy to say.
Though we are still in the journey, and not at the destination of a smooth sailing perfected ship yet,
the clouds are clearing, the crew is on the deck, and the passengers are breathing a deep sigh of relief.

Sometimes you have to just thicken your skin, breath a little deeper, pray a little harder,
and bring in just a little more patience and resilience to even SURVIVE this industry we are in ! lol.

"Wisdom Begins in Wonder"

Wow... have you seen the new webinar format? Personally, I'm fascinated by it and I was in the den when the technology was created. It's definitely 'Don't Miss' as you will get to see the professionalism of the leadership you have in the field. Dynamic!

Commissions are done and uploading... yeah! It's true... since we started the week of January 4th, 2010, in just 4 weeks you've earned almost $30,000 that was paid out to 109 OpportunityZoomers. Congratulations to Hugh Paul, David Reid and Terry Williams who are your top earning leaders and behind the fantastic new webinar format.

You won't believe it but those commissions were only on the 2 x 2... which were paid through the 9th, we're not even due to pay through the 5th till Friday. We owed you one. The next 2 x 2' commissions will come out on the 19th... and Friday, we'll be uploading the 2 x 12 commissions.

More good news... our tree rendering issues are fast going away in the rearview mirror. You may still experience some slowness but the move to upgraded servers is taking place throughout this week and we'll be totally migrated by Monday. Tommy, Matt and Alex will continue to be vigilant while the migration takes place to keep problems to a minimum. Bravo guys, they're doing a monster job while you guys are blowing us out of the gate.

Now that we're moving to our own rack space and the technology on the sales side will start smoothing out, here's what's coming...

1. Link to get an international debit card, in your back office today, yes U.S. too, if you don't have one already.

2. Domains, capture pages and hosting with tracking coming this week.

3. Hyperlink in the description on the right side of your YouTube videos... powerful, ready now.

4. Automation of BotCloud accounts and soon behind it automation of campaigns, parts this week, more next week with our current focus on getting everyone their videos ads.

7. Core 2 is a major upgrade to our sales tracking software due out this month, shortly after the migration to our own server rack.

Greetings Friends,
Yes, it's true, yet ANOTHER update from OZ Corporate.

I am going to be very frank with you all, as I always am. When I first saw Opportunity Zoom I thought it was a brilliant concept, very unique, very valuable, totally product driven, with a innovative, dynamic and fast moving compensation plan. I decided to get this out there to my contacts and friends in the industry. It was a bold move, and my decision was based on many factors, even though I did not know these people personally, and had no way to predict the future. I shared this in the hope that it would be a success, and a big one. I shared this with the intention it would be fantastic advertising medium for everyone, and a great money maker.

Either I was going to be very embarrassed or very happy in the end, that much I knew!
It was a caculated risk.

At this point, I can say, (though again, we are NOT out of the forest yet)
that things are looking quite good with OZ!

You know, from my previous updates, that I tell the truth, even if it hurts, or shocks and offends some people.
I will continue to do so!
So, when I am highly encouraged, you can know it is sincere and not hype or fluff.
I have no problem reporting the good, the bad, the ugly and the excellent.

Right now, these guys are looking EXCELLENT.

I have gotten paid onto my card successfully, and have used this card to withdraw real cash out of the ATM. Other team members are having the same experience. Also, I am happy to report, that even though the ad campaigns are just practice, and the advertising platform is not fully loaded (and we are not actually paying for these current campaigns even) I have gotten my first lead from my campaigns! Someone very interested in joining!

OpportunityZoom Update

"33 Billion Videos a Month are Viewed at one URL... YouTube"

You'll notice quite a speed difference loading your genealogy trees now... we're in our new server rack and upgraded servers. Thank you for your patience.

Video ad campaigns are next on our attack list. Here's our plan... we have streamlined the manual process and added people to the teams uploading ads. We'll get caught up with all video ad campaigns as fast as we can go.

Next, we are automating the complete video ad campaign development process. The first step is to automate the account activation for new members as they join. This will be done by next week. After that we will automate the actual campaign creation itself... this will come shortly behind the automation of account creation. As slow as it might have seemed to you up to this point, progress will happen faster than you might think now.

Our overall plan is to migrate the Ad Bank system onto BotCloud which will move the information much faster. DVTtechnology will become the platform with BotCloud being the underlying operating system similar to the way windows or mac is the OS of your own computer.

If there is anyone that needs their ads urgently, especially if you are promoting your own product, send Chris a note to support@opportunityzoom.com and he will facilitate your campaign. Place 'Video Ad Campaign' in the subject. Let Chris know in the email if it is for Zoom or your own product.

For those of you who have been waiting longer than expected, I take personal responsibility. I'm aware not only are we lagging in getting the video ad campaigns posted, but capture pages are important to your businesses. These things are now our main focus and they will be provided as quickly as possible. I will personally make it worth your wait with plenty of video ad campaigns for each one of you to ensure you're are able to blanket the market with your product.

Concerning the video bans that we experienced about a week ago... we'll be replacing all of those campaigns over the next few days and upgrade them with current keywords. You'll be glad to know that we learned a great deal from those bans and have implemented processes to prevent that in the future. In other words, we should have much fewer bans from here on out.

However, these new processes have slowed down our daily upload capacity by almost 40%. Within the next 2 days we expect to gain back most of that loss and by the middle of next week, we'll have increased our overall capacity by more than 50%. We're constantly adding more networks worldwide to stay ahead of our growth.

I will personally keep you updated daily on our progress with your Video Ad Campaigns.

So far, I am happy to report, that The Opportunity Zoom Corporate Team is showing themselves
to be made of integrity, quality, perseverance and dedication.

OpportunityZoom Update

'YouTube Accounts for 40% of U.S. Online Videos Viewed'

Greetings from deep in the DVTtechnology labs... where our focus is turning to helping you with your video ad campaigns. We have added more staff and started to automate processes that will shorten the time substantially for getting campaigns live on YouTube.

We are on the last stages of adding hosting for capture pages. We already have the technology working to provide hyperlinks in the description area to the right of your videos on YouTube. We're working on the ads that will point that out for Zoom promotions. This feature is already available for anyone promoting their own products. Just add a note to the message in your campaigns to click on the link to the right.

We had a small glitch in our help desk in our moves to the new servers... that has now been corrected and the tickets that backed up on us will all be answered by Tuesday evening. Thank you for your patience. If there is something that can't wait, send an email to support@oppoturnityzoom.com and your issue will be attended to.

We offer a very warm welcome to our newest Webinar presenter, Rayda Roundy, she did a outstanding job in her maiden voyage... congratulations on an outstanding beginning. If you haven't seen the international webinar, tune in Tuesday afternoon at 3 PM EST, they guys presentation is captivating.

On the International debit card, you only have to order it once, we'll be clearing up the instructions on that area very shortly. For the U.S., just make sure you have provided your SSN/FEIN and DOB and your card is ordered for you.

Even if you have more than one Zoom account, you only have to order one card, we'll pay your commissions on all 3 accounts to that one card. The new instructions will provide a clear method to let us know you have more than 1 account.

It's being considered to move payments on commissions to Wednesdays as we discovered it's taking 48 hours for the money to load and it doesn't load over weekends. That means that pay periods will move to Wednesday through the following Tuesday evening at midnight. We'll confirm this in Wednesday's update. You're currently reading Monday's update, we intend to send you a daily update Monday through Friday.

There was an excellent corporate update call last night, with Rick Hare.
I was not able to take notes at the time, but there is a LOT happening with OZ.
98% of the issues have been resolved, new staff has been hired, and a lot of things
are being implimented to make things go faster, smoother and better on all levels.
Also, the bot cloud campaigns are the next thing they are working on.
The site is also being redesigned, and they are also working on the capture pages.
Things continue to look better and better here in the land of OZ.
