SAFE: To Adjust and Optimize Foreign Exchange Reserves

The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (forex) said that it is need to conduct dynamic adjustments and optimization to foreign exchange (forex) reserves to encourage “store the foreign exchange (forex) in domestic citizens”.
Recently, when answered the question from the journalist the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (forex) said that China's currency structure of the foreign exchange (forex) reserves is not static, but need to carry out dynamic adjustment and optimizations. The currency structure of foreign exchange (forex) should take these factors, such as the market capacity, liquidity, risk and yield of the currency and development trend into consideration, and then conducting continuous optimization according to the changing trend of economy and market, and investment demands.

At present, China’s foreign exchange (forex) reserves is a decentralization monetary structure combination, which includes the main currencies, U.S dollars, euro, Japan Yen and so on, and other currency in the burgeoning market and countries.
