First time users may find it hard to select between the vast amount of islands profiling themselves as offshore havens today. While this is true, in most cases some "offshore" destinations does not have such good protection now at days as before.

British Virgin Islands and Isle Of Man has been profiled as the best, biggest and far most the most used destinations. While the two latter are true, the best is hard to define. In these two special cases there has been a lot of attention towards these islands, basically due to the fact that up to 5 million people are having companies established in those regions.

In a course of a couple of years we can imagine that some offshore destinations will loose their status, and most likely these two destinations will be the first to fall.

With this in mind, make sure that something different is selected. Personally I would recommend Seychelles or Panama. Both are very much under the radar and has great legislation when it comes to anonymity of the companies.
