Sweden do allow people to setup a creditunion or ekonomisk förening. This type of union allows the members to make financial transactions and to make deposits funds to an account with the union. The union is allowed to give credit to its members. There is a limitation of 1000 members in a union. There must be at least 3 members to establish a union. There must be at least 3 members on the board like in a foundation. A president, secretary and a treasurer. One of the board members must be from within the European Union.
