We had a truly informative and inspiring webinar earlier tonight. It lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. The first half hour was supposed to be questions and answers. It ended up going for about an hour, and then after a brief presentation, another half hour of questions and answers. The webinar was packed, and people were stoked. It was a huge relief to get an update live and in person from corporate on exactly where we have been, what is happening, and where we are headed.

Here are some notes I took:
Rick Hare, the President and CEO of DVT Technologies and Opportunity Zoom came on and first and foremost apologized for the many challenges and issues that have arisen during the first few days. He took full ownership of those, and deeply thanked the members for their patience and understanding in this early phase of prelaunch. He also shared that corporate has been working non stop on all levels to address issues that have arisen.
It has, incidentally, become very clear to OZ members, that these issues and glitches have been and continue to be addressed quite rapidly.
1) Join Process: They thought everything was fixed with the join process, but there were additional issues that were found that still needed to be resolved. The merchant account was delaying approvals, and a 2nd message was going out saying they were approved. This confused people, and has been the cause of much of the sign up problems, but it has been fully identified. There are now two other merchant accounts that will be online within the next 24 hours, and this should be all cleared up by tomorrow evening, latest. People should just know that no matter what the system says, if your card is good, you are good to go. Don't believe the "error" messages! (They will be gone forever soon).
2) Any accidental double charges that were caused by the above error messages (and people thinking they needed to repay) have been refunded, and any new ones are being immediately refunded. Huge apologies for this glitch!! (I can confirm that all double charges that have happened on my team have already been refunded). Error codes are now a thing of the past.
3) The issue of people accidentally going to the corporate site and signing up (therefore being "orphaned" in the "holding tank") is now an issue of the past. You cannot join from the corporate site any more. You must enter the username of your sponsor if you go there for some reason. Any one who previously did end up there is being personally contacted to find out who their sponsor was. No one will slip through the cracks, and this is now a non issue. There will be no more orphans!
4) All campaigns are still not being debited from people's purchase of ads! In other words, the campaigns that are being launched for members (and this is good at least through this week) are COMPED. They are "practice campaigns". Once the entire advertising inteface is up and running, with "annotations" (which is basically a Live Link on the videos that will take people to your website, either OZ or whatever you are promoting) then and only then will the actual campaigns begin! These "annotations" will dramatically increase the results of the campaigns, as instead of having to copy and paste your url into a new browswer, video viewers will just pause their video, click on your "annotation" (Live Link to YOUR site, whatever you may be promoting) and go directly to your site! This will be a huge positive upgrade.
5) Everyone in the system now, and new members, will have their "Bot Cloud" (OZ Advertising Portal) up and running within 72 hours or less. And again, these ad campaigns are not even debited from your purchase, they are comped! (See #4 above). If you are getting an "error" message when trying to log into your Bot Cloud, it just means that your Bot Cloud account has not been activated yet. You will get an email letting you know when it is. And again, all current members and new members from now on should get that email within 72 hours.
To access your account, once it is activated, you log into your Bot Cloud, and then click on Ad Bank. You can click a link to use your ads to promote OZ itself, in which case your ads will be doubled, or you can promote anything else that you like. It is very easy either way.
6) We will be able to upload our own videos through the system soon. We will be able to create our own text for our campaigns for OZ as well.
7) Capture pages are done, but not yet hosted, this will be coming in the near future. There is much more to come, we are just getting started.
As promised, I am keeping everyone updated. You also might notice that I have reactivated my signature for OZ, below. This is because after seeing how they have dealt with the many issues and problems that originally arose, my faith in the dedication and committment of Rick Hare and the Opportunity Zoom team has been reconfirmed.
I cannot predict the future, and I do not have a crystal ball. The fact is, that only time will tell if Opportunity Zoom ends up being a successful company. My committment to you is that I will always stay true to my experience, and always tell it like it is, from the best possible perspective that I have. I will never sugar coat anything, and will report as a member, dedicated to the members.
